German Pellets GmbH is Europe’s largest manufacturer of wood pellets. The company was founded in 2005 in the Mecklenburg city of Wismar on the Baltic seacoast. Today German Pellets controlls 14 plants in europe. With their combined production capacity we are capable of supplying several hundred thousand households with environmentally friendly wood pellets.

German Pellets: First Pellet Plant in the US
German Pellets goes to America. The largest wood pellet manufacturer in Europe is building its first pellet plant in the United States. In Tyler County, East Texas, the company intends to manufacture 500,000 metric tons of wood pellets per year. This was announced by the company this week in the context of the Interpellets exhibition in Stuttgart. The first pellets will be produced in the third quarter of 2012. In the coming years, German Pellets plans to further expand its production capacities in the U.S.
German Pellets Founds Subsidiary in Italy
German Pellets is strengthening its presence on the Italian market. The newly founded subsidiary German Pellets Italia plans to build and operate combined heat and power (CHP) plants in Northern Italy. German Pellets Italia was founded together with an Italian partner. In the coming years, the subsidiary wants to build and operate CHP plants for the production of electricity and heat from wood pellets.
